Our Team!

Sarah Beckman
I am thrilled to be returning to Haiti for the 3rd time and leading an amazing group of people from Minnesota and New Mexico.  I am taking my whole family, including my husband, Craig, my son, Nick (18) daughters Dani (15) and Moranda (13).  I am delighted to have this opportunity to visit Haiti again and share it with our group.  It is a place that will steal your heart!

I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be heading a team down to Haiti for my third mission trip! I feel so blessed to be part of this!! I cannot wait to see how God moves throughout our week while we are there!! It’s amazing to see how God uses this trip to break our hearts and puts them back together.

Hi friends and family. This is my first mission trip and my first time to a 3rd world country. I'm really looking forward to seeing God in action; in the people of Haiti, in our team and in myself. This will be such a humbling experience, but what an opportunity to share Christ's love to those in need. Thanks for all your prayers and support.

 Emily Vakulskas
My name is Emily Vakulskas and I am a freshman at Arizona State University. I am working extremely hard to someday realize my dream of making a difference in the world through a medical profession. This year, I was blessed with an even more immediate way to make that difference. I have chosen to attend a mission trip to the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere: Haiti.
As part of a focused group, I will be associated with the organization “Healing Haiti”. On the trip, my group and I will be touching lives in Port-au-Prince and Cite Soleil. In these cities, here are only a few of the vital activities that we will undertake:
- Deliver food and water to those in need
- Visit numerous schools and orphanages
- Transport needed supplies
- Visit home for sick or abandoned babies
I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve both God and the people of Haiti.

I am going to the country of Haiti this summer. Decided to go because I am going to college in the fall and I thought that it would be a great way to extend my world view beyond my current "bubble". I am nervous but extremely excited to be a part of such an amazing organization like Healing Haiti. I truly believe that the work that they have already done and continue to do in Haiti is unique and very important. I am just so blessed to be able to be a part of it.

I am taking my first overseas Mission trip to Haiti, June 1-8 and taking my whole family.  I am looking forward to learning more about the drinking water problems in Haiti, and seeing my children change their view of the world and their place in it. And to understand what it really looks like to love others.

I am taking my first overseas Mission trip to Haiti, June 1-8 with my whole family.  I am looking forward to serving God, exposing myself to a third world country to see how blessed I am, and to come back changed.

This will be my first time going to Haiti and I am excited to experience this with our particular team, most of which I have been able to work with through my job at Hope Christian School. I am eager to learn more about Haiti and their people, please pray for our safety and health as we travel. I can't wait to see how God changes me through this adventure.

We are very excited and humbled to be able to participate in a mission trip to Haiti. After we heard about this opportunity we both instantaneously thought this was what God had intended for us to do. We have been married for less than a year and this will be our first mission trip together. We consider it a pure joy to be able to serve others and most importantly spreading the Good Word of Jesus Christ. We would greatly appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and any financial support, if you are led to do so.

I am incredibly blessed with the opportunity to attend a mission trip this June to the poorest country of the Western Hemisphere: Haiti. While in Haiti, my group and I will be touching lives in Port-au-Prince and Cite Solei. Here we will be delivering water, visiting and caring for children in numerous schools and orphanages, transporting needed supplies, and visit a home for sick and abandoned babies.

I am so excited to use my talents and passion for sharing God's love to serve not only the Haitian people, but God as well!!
